Where Is Kamiyah Mobley Now?
On July 10, 1998, Shanara Mobley, at sixteen, gave birth to a baby girl whom they named Kamiyah Teresiah Tasha. Eight hours after her birth, a lady dressed as a nurse strolled into the hospital room where Shanara and her newborn daughter Kamiyah were staying in Florida, helped Shanara, and then walked out carrying Kamiyah.
Staff at the hospital initially thought the baby’s abducting mother was a Mobley family member.
During a follow-up interview, Shanara begged for her daughter’s safe return.
It was speculated that Kamiyah’s kidnapper was between 25 and 35 years old and wore glasses and a wig. Furthermore, she wore a floral blue smock with green scrubs.
In retrospect, it’s clear that Gloria Williams, who would have been 33 at the time, fabricated paperwork to give Kamiyah a new identity.
Some assume that Gloria abducted her children because she was in an abusive relationship and had recently miscarried.
